About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of California (PSY18593) with a specialty in child and adolescent neuropsychological assessment. I have been in private practice in Oakland, CA since 2006. I was previously employed as a neuropsychologist through the Neurology Department with Children’s Hospital Oakland. I completed my post-doctoral training through the Neurology Department with Oakland Children’s Hospital where I was subsequently employed. I completed my pre-doctoral training through the Psychiatry Department at Yale University. I completed my dissertation through the Neurology Department at The University of California at San Francisco (UCSF). I hold a Ph.D. degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialty in Neuropsychology from the California School of Professional Psychology Fresno. All of my practicum training was in the area of psychological and neuropsychological assessment. I have a bachelor’s degree from the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB) where I double majored in Biopsychology and Physical Anthropology.


I have worked with a wide range of children and families in various settings over the years. Throughout my training and professional experience, I have had a clear focus in the area of clinical neuropsychology with a specialty in the area of child and adolescent assessment. I have had the privilege to work with a variety of outstanding mentors in neuropsychology and allied fields. I have lectured for a variety of academic and community organizations and I am involved in a number of consultation groups and professional organizations.


On a personal level, I am a parent of two small daughters. I am keenly aware of the joy and the challenges of raising children in the Bay Area. My personal interests include spending time with my family and friends, sports and outdoor activities.
